Sure enough it appeared at the door and she messaged Benjamin to bring the package in. The next night with moist air he slept much better. 

 

How is it even possible to set such a rapid response in place from three hundred miles away? I saw a quirky ad about Amazon Yesterday Shipping, where customers receive things before they have asked for them. But that doesn't really happen. 

 

There is a fresh initiative to ignite prayer in our community. We will gather on zoom to talk about the palette of communication with God. One week the focus will be on giving thanks, another for praying for others. There will be time for conversation around books, and scripture, and music that are tributaries for give and take with the Healer. 

 

I hope we will share our own stories about times when our petitions were answered. Like when I was in a kerfuffle, trying to pack up dinner for a family recovering from major surgery. A friend appeared at my door, and cheerfully offered to help carry dishes and smile. It turned an awkward errand into an enjoyable visit. It was a prayer answered before I opened my lips. 

 

 And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.  Isaiah 65
