Mandy's mother had a lot to do at work the next day. Her office had taken on new clients and it was up to Jill to dovetail their expectations with the production team. As she walked into the conference room she tossed up a little prayer.
"Oh, Lord, please help me to understand what this woman needs."
As it happened the meeting went smoothly, Jill taking copious notes. They developed a rapport and Jill was looking forward to working with her.
Jill had to drive across town for another event, and because of the time of day worried that there would be no parking spaces. Surprisingly someone was just pulling out and Jill slid into the spot behind them. Grabbing her briefcase she almost ran into the building.
On her way home, Jill realized that she had no ideas for dinner. What hadn't they had already this week? As soon as she stepped into the house she could smell cinnamon.
"Hi, honey. Your sister dropped off a pie, just because she was making one for her family. So I took some soup out of the pantry and warmed it up." Her husband did that kind of thing sometimes when she wasn't expecting it. What a relief.
Jill sat down to go over the bills. One of the insurance companies she had been haggling with had sent her a notice that they would cover the medical procedure. She had definitely prayed over that one!
