It can be useful to hear what poor relationship skills sound like. It gives you a vivid memory of what not to say.

It is a step in being truly free.

A person possesses freedom and rationality in order that he or she may, from being natural, become spiritual. For it is a person's love that becomes spiritual; and this cannot become spiritual unless he or she knows by means of his or her understanding what evil is and what good is, and therefore what truth is and what falsity is. When a person knows these things, she can freely choose one or the other.
