I do not know their names, or how long it took them to practice this piece. But I soak up their smiles every time I watch them, and it makes me feel good too. They look like they are having fun. 

 

I do not even know if they are husband and wife, but it is still gives me a lovely image of what marriage can be. When John and I crank out a meal together, him doing the tortillas and beans, me chopping tomatoes and peppers, we make music you can eat. When we solve a problem together, like getting a kid through a rough spot, it feels like a kind of dance. 

 

I like making one life with John. Even thought there is a lot of practice in getting the notes right.
