It is fun to be in on a surprise. A hundred people were included on the guest list for an elaborate proposal. A man drew himself and his high school sweetheart into the animated version of Sleeping Beauty. I suppose they came late, which is why they had to sit in the very front. But actually it was in order to be visible to the cameras which were in place to catch her reaction.  

 

She seemed confused that Sleeping Beauty looked more like herself than the original blond version, and Prince Charming's coloring was suspiciously similar to her boyfriend. But it wasn't until the velvet ring box erupted out of the screen and into the theater that she caught on. 

 

"Will you marry me?" 

 

Looking around she recognized all the faces of her family and friends who filled the seats. 

 

"Yes!"

 

The room exploded with joy. An easy transition from anticipation. 

 

I especially loved his insightful final line in the cartoon. 

 

"The Beginning."
