"Facebook is going to help my marriage?" Harvey was surprised that Larry even knew what Facebook was. Mona let out a little laugh. It seemed ridiculous to her that social media could strengthen her marriage.

"You will be invited to join a closed Facebook group, together with all of the couples who have been through this process before you," Marjorie explained. "There are several purposes of the group. It is for posting photos of the two of you having fun."

"That will be eeeeeasy!!! I love posting photos," Mona gave a little jump.

"What else?" Harvey was intrigued, if a tad dubious.

"It is for posting good things about your partner. Things you appreciate, quick stories about what they did for you. Goals for your relationship, and quotes from the Word that are meaningful for you." Marjorie went on. "Just today I was online and there was a surge of sweet comments that just spilled into each other, and then people liked each other's comments, and it grew like a snowball."

"That sounds fabulous!" Mona loved Facebook already. Still she had noticed that some of her friends tended to complain more than compliment. Sometimes it affected her mood too. She didn't feel easy about admitting that to herself.

"Only the good things," Larry said like he meant it. If you veer off the path others are allowed, even expected to gently remind you what this forum is for."

"Is there a certain amount of posting we are supposed to do?" Mona was anxious to get it right.

"No, it is just that if you get too quiet, go too long without posting, your friends will notice and check up on you. That is what it is for... sharing the good and keeping tabs on each other. It is not for the purpose of admonishing, but staying in touch because we care. Sometimes when we are hurting most we cannot muster the energy to even ask for help. The silence is a heads up to others to check on you, either with a private message or in person."

"Wow, this is a lot to digest," Harvey said with a long sigh. He ran his fingers through his thick brown hair.

"Perhaps you can see now why not all couples choose to take on the agreements we put in front of them," Larry shrugged. He paused for almost a minute. "But those that do..." He wrapped his arms around his wife and kissed her on the lips with a loud smack. Marjorie was surprised, and laughed.
