![]() Dave Barry is a genius. He came up with this guideline for winning an argument. I for one have no interest in sparring with him at an office party where there are witnesses present and furniture waiting to be knocked over.
I have read this tutorial three times, and eagerly await a chance to employ it. In checking my social calendar, however, I realize that the only places I am going this week are the local nursing home, where everyone wears discount hearing aids, and the preschool where kids care more about caterpillars than about international affairs. I do have to show up for jury duty next month though. Maybe my new skills will come in handy if the attorney is at a loss for words.
I suppose I could try it with John, but there is this annoying book on my coffee table, staring at me.
