There is a national initiative to keep fathers engaged with their children. Research is teeming with evidence that children fare better with dads in their lives, and that fathers are overwhelmingly more involved when they are married to their child's mother. There is a wonderful movie called Courageous from the people who created Fireproof which paints a picture of four fathers and the struggle to support their kids.
