May is quite a month.
37 years ago this May, in the musical Fiddler on the Roof, I got up on stage and sang this song. It took 20 years for me to really feel what the song said - but I finally found her and asked her to marry me.
17 years ago this May she said yes.
3 years
ago today I lost her.
3 days ago another young man got up on a stage and sang this same song - while I got to sit in the front row and watch.
