Mark Gungor is the founder of Laugh Your Way to a Better Marriage, and he told me that if you saw open a man's head, and you look inside, you will notice that it is crammed full of boxes. There is the job box, the car box, the computer box, the football box and the wife box. What is more, none of the boxes are allowed to touch each other.

But women's heads are full of wires, and every wire is connected to all the other wires. So if her husband is talking about the car needing gas, that reminds her that she needs to go to the dentist (in the car), which reminds her that tomorrow is her mother's birthday (she was always the one to get her to brush her teeth), which reminds her that her mother really wants tickets to a show (which is probably all sold out by now), which makes her mad (because her husband did not order the tickets when she told him to), and he cannot figure out why she is mad when all he said was he needed to put gas in the car.
