Marriage Moats Caring for Marriage

Dear Lord,

Why do you let us build things for ourselves? Wouldn't it be better if you did all the work, and we just showed up for the curtain call? Why is it that you want us to feel as if we are part of making this family, this life, this home? It has faults. We make choices that are imperfect. Would you really rather let us be part of the creating, even at that exorbitant price? I guess the answer is yes. It does feel good, and in its own humble way, it is beautiful.
