I have made eight One Block Quilts in the last few months. The symmetry and serendipity evoke a sense of magic for me. I cannot predict what will happen when I chop and put back together six hundred triangles into identical hexagons.
Here is a two minute dance that is a red, black and white quilt made of moving people. I say it is only two minutes, but if you watch it three times like I did it creeps up to six. But how could six minutes of a human kaleidoscope possibly detract from the rest of my day?
Marriage is a dance where two people skirt around each other, sometimes in sync, other times in
opposition. Yet perhaps to Someone whose thoughts are far above mine it is still beautiful.
For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways Mine. As the heavens are above the earth, so My ways are above yours.
