There are cool things about this sculpture crafted in his honor. It will not be weathered by time, which is what he said about love. You cannot see the image except from a certain spot on the ground. Everywhere else it just seems like random steel. The piece is made of bars to represent the years he spent behind them. I love that the sky and landscape peek through the gaps, as if his whole life was bigger than he could possibly have predicted.
