I read a brief
story about a young boy who was running a 5K. He got separated from his group and was losing steam near the end. A marine noticed this and doubled back to check on him.
"Will you run with me?" asked the little guy.
"Sure," he slowed down to match his pace. They finished the race together.
I notice that the boy still had to move his own feet. He was not asking to be rescued, he just wanted company.
That is what the marriage program is about. No one can do your work for you, but they can show up to run beside you.
