It is time to say adieu. Or as my other European daughter would say, adios. These daily vignettes have jumped through cyberspace from my computer to yours for the last dozen years. That is long enough.
I do have a clutch of suggestions for those of you who might miss them. There are three volumes of my stories in print. Some are on www.
lulu.com and others are available on
Amazon. Newchristianbiblestudy.org offers a daily quote, as does newchurch.org. Off the Left Eye creates content on You Tube including videos and quotes from Swedenborg. If you make a comment, I will probably see it and respond.
There is a cache of a hundred songs that John and I have composed over the decades, most of which are stored at newchurchaudio.org. Search for Lori's Songs from the Word.
One regret I hang on to is that many of you had a peek into my home, but I was not afforded a window into yours. More than half of the people who read these messages are precious people from diverse places that I have never met. That feels like a lost opportunity. I wish I knew your stories too.
In closing, I want to thank the Bryn Athyn Church for supporting this effort. Should you feel moved to make a donation to that ministry there is a link at brynathynchurch.org.
Serving others is what tethers us together. My connections to all of you have been sweet. Thank you for writing back, for reading, for considering, for believing every day that following God is a journey worth taking.
He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you? But to do justly, To love mercy, And to walk humbly with your God?
