This is a special marriage moat, not from Lori, but from people who love her and want to honor her years of working to support marriages. This month Lori is retiring from her job as Director of Marriage Programs for the Bryn Athyn Church, and this Sunday, July 10, we will have a party in her honor.
It will be at about 10:30 am right after the Informal Family Service, in Heilman Hall. Informal Service begins with singing (led by Lori) at 9:20am; the celebration will begin around 10:15/30.
Lori has affected this congregation and the larger General Church through her leadership of Caring for Marriage. Some examples of what this program involved are marriage conferences, “Couples’ Nights Out,” marriage groups, anniversary cards, marriage mentoring, and her well-loved Marriage Motes daily reading.
